Here's another soup you can definitely use to make an impression. The palm nut peanut butter soup is a Ghanaian classic
Ingredients
1. Peanut butter
2. Palm nut extract
3. Beef
4. Onions
5.Tomato plums
6. Mackerel
7. Pepper
8. Ginger
9. Garlic
10. Okro
11. Salt
12. Onga cubes
Method:
Wash vegetables.
Blend garlic, ginger and onion.
Steam beef with garlic, ginger and onion mixture
Add fresh pepper, onion and tomato plums.
Add salt to taste and onga cubes and cover to steam for 5 minutes.
Scoop peanut butter in a bowl and dissolve with hot water and add to the steamed meat.
Get a different saucepan and scoop out the palm nut base, add water and dissolve it to be strained onto the soup.
Increase the heat for the soup to boil.
Take out the onion and pepper and tomatoes, then blend add to the soup.
Add more water(warm) if the soup is too thick.
After 10-15 min, add the seasoned fresh mackerel and okro.
Allow to cook for 15 more minutes.
Nkate be is ready to be eaten with fufu, banku, rice, omo tuo etc.
